Samantha V. Makayan

Samantha Makayan is a Juris Doctor graduate and a member of the legal team of Palpal-Latoc Law Office. She completed her Juris Doctor degree in December 2025 and is currently preparing for the Bar Examinations.

Her experience includes working as a paralegal for an Australian law firm specializing in property and conveyancing, where she assisted in document preparation, legal coordination, and handling real estate-related matters. She has also been exposed to legal research, drafting, and client support work in an international setting.

During law school, Samantha was actively involved in leadership and legal service. She served as Secretary of the University of the East Law Student Government and as a legal intern at the University of the East Legal Aid Clinic, where she participated in providing legal assistance and support to clients.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Santo Tomas in 2018.

Samantha brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a practical approach to legal work. As she prepares for the Bar, she continues to support the firm in research, drafting, and case management, contributing to the delivery of efficient and client-focused legal services.
